For a long time, Jeep enthusiasts were begging for a pickup truck option from the brand. They wanted something that delivered all of the off-road capabilities and style they’ve come to expect from vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler but the added benefits of a truck bed and everything that comes with being a pickup. The 2020 model year finally saw those people get their wish, as the brand introduced the Gladiator. Now a few years later, the 2025 Jeep Gladiator is one of the most popular models on the lineup, and it’s for sale right here at Jim Glover CDJRF in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Jeep Gladiator is still a young vehicle, so the brand didn’t need to change much this year – though a mid-generation refresh is likely on the horizon. There were a few updates and changes this year though, for example the Gladiator now comes exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Power locks and windows are standard now, as well. A pair of new exterior color options were also added to the palette of options, including Fathom Blue and ‘41, the latter of which is inspired by military olive drab.
In addition to these adjustments, a new feature has been made available called Active Cabin Ventilation. This new feature enables owners to utilize the Jeep Connect mobile app to pre-condition their vehicle during hot summer months. Finally, though we haven’t received any further information yet, Jeep has confirmed that Gladiator will receive its own 4xe plug-in hybrid variant before the end of the 2025 calendar year.
As a pickup truck, we wanted to make sure to highlight the Gladiator’s capabilities when it comes to doing truck things, as well as some of its most exciting off-road specs. So, for starters, the Gladiator offers a maximum payload of 1,725 pounds as well as a max towing capacity of up to 7,700 lbs. As for off-road specs, it offers a best-in-class crawl ratio of 77:1 on the Rubicon trim level, it can ford water up to a depth of 31.5” and it has 11.6” of ground clearance. Its departure angle is 26 degrees, approach is 44.7 degrees and breakover is 20.9 degrees. If you have any other specific questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
There are a total of eight different trim levels available for the 2025 Jeep Gladiator. We’ve put together a brief breakdown of each trim with a few of their most exciting features and design cues below, but it’s also important to note that the Sport S includes everything found on the Sport, and the same goes for the Rubicon X and Mojave X and their respective base trims, Rubicon and Mojave.
