We’ve got some very exciting news for fans of the Jeep Wrangler 392. While learning that the 2024 model year would be the final run for the iconic 392-cubic-inch engine, capped off with a 392 Final Edition special trim level, feedback was so overwhelming that Jeep decided to give it one final final ride into the sunset. That’s right, there will be a 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition! Today we’re going to dive into the special edition models specs & features, including any unique design cues that it adopts. While there’s no guarantee this couldn’t happen again, we imagine this will truly be the end for the 392 powertrain, so now is certainly the time to get yours if you’re interested!
“Jeep Wrangler 392 remains atop the mountain in terms of all-out performance, power and unmatched capability. These are game-changing strengths that our most impassioned Jeep enthusiasts asked us for, and that the competition was unable to match. To celebrate the existence of this powerhouse, we’re sending the raucous, 392-powered Wrangler off in style with this special Final Edition, limited to just 3,700 units globally.”
– Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President & Head, Jeep Brand – North America
When the 2024 Wrangler 392 Final Edition was first announced, Bill Peffer stated that only 3,700 units would be built and sold across the world. That included 3,300 for the United States, 300 for Canada and 100 for everybody else. Now that the special trim level is being continued for the 2025 model year, it remains to be seen if the Final Edition will stay limited.
All we know for certain is that the vehicle will enter production in Q1 of 2025, and that orders for the model will open sometime before the end of 2024. With that in mind, we suspect it might not be limited. Regardless, if you’re interested in one for yourself, make sure to seize the opportunity as soon as it becomes available. Reach out to us here at the sales desk to let us know you’re interested in custom ordering and we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop when orders open.
We’re stoked to be able to offer this special edition model to celebrate and take advantage of the 392 powertrain. Naturally the most important aspect of this vehicle is that powertrain, which is a 6.4L HEMI V8 capable of generating 470 horsepower alongside 470 pound-feet of torque. All of that power enables the Wrangler Rubicon to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds or run a quarter mile in 13 seconds flat. Other important off-road specifications include 11.6” of ground clearance and 34.5” of water fording. Now, let’s dive into the model’s off-road capabilities and unique design cues, highlighted in the following list.
The only things Jeep has stated won’t be returning for the 2025 Final Edition that were present in the 2024 version are the Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit. If you’d like to learn more about what the 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition will have to offer when it arrives early next year, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us right here at Jim Glover CDJRF!
