We are firmly into hunting season throughout Oklahoma, which means it’s time for many of your outdoorsmen and women across the state to pack up the truck and head into the woods for a bit. If you’re one of the lucky folks who have chosen a RAM truck as your partner in these endeavors, you’ve likely already taken note of its rugged performance, impressive towing capabilities and spacious interior.
But did you know that with a little planning, you can make your truck the perfect sidekick for your hunting season adventures? With the following storage and organization ideas, you can rest assured that you’ll have everything you need when and where you need it, so keep reading to learn out to outfit your truck for the season.
Bed Storage Solutions
Naturally, one of the best ways to maximize your organization in a pickup truck is by outfitting its bed with storage solutions. We have three excellent suggestions for you to consider adding to your truck, each of which will make storing and accessing your hunting gear so much easier this year.
- Lockable Bed Boxes
- If you’re looking for a safe and secure place to store your firearms, bows and any other valuable gear you bring along, a lockable bed box is the perfect solution. If you have a newer RAM truck, you might already have a RAMBox Cargo Management System integrated right into the sides of your truck bed, but even that can be outfitted with accessories to make organization even easier.
- Sliding Bed Trays
- You can install a system in your bed that makes accessing your items even easier, as sliding bed trays will allow you to pull a tray of your gear all the way out of the bed. Now you can access your coolers, decoys or whatever other equipment you have with you without even climbing into the bed.
