  • Tru-Lok Electronic Locking Differentials: Front and rear Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials provide enhanced traction and stability on challenging terrain.
  • Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect: The Wrangler Rubicon comes with an electronic sway bar disconnect system that allows for improved articulation and wheel travel when navigating rough terrain.
  • Off-Road Ready Tires: The Wrangler Rubicon is fitted with aggressive 33” off-road all-terrain tires designed to provide maximum traction and durability in off-road conditions. They’re wrapped around 17” machine-faced wheels and, together, offer an available best-in-class 100:1 crawl ratio.

For those seeking the versatility of a pickup truck combined with off-road capability, the Jeep Gladiator is always an excellent choice; but, if you want to take things to the next level, that’s where the Gladiator Rubicon enters the fray. The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon offers similar off-road features to the Wrangler Rubicon, along with the added utility of a truck bed. Key features of the Gladiator Rubicon include:

  • Trail Rated Toughness: The Gladiator Rubicon is Trail Rated® for its exceptional off-road performance, water fording capability, maneuverability, articulation and traction.
  • Dana 44 Axles: Heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles provide durability and strength for tackling challenging terrain.
  • Off-Road+ Mode: The Gladiator Rubicon offers an Off-Road+ mode that optimizes traction control, throttle response and transmission shift points for enhanced off-road performance.

Other Available Trim Levels

Both models also offer Rubicon X trim levels for the 2025 model year, which enhance their respective vehicles even further. They mostly add premium features and technologies for a luxurious upgrade mixing your off-road adventures with the lap of luxury. For example, the Wrangler Rubicon X adds steel bumpers, Nappa leather seats with a 12-way power driver seat, the largest-in-class 12.3” Uconnect infotainment system and much more.

While other models on the Jeep lineup do not offer Rubicon trim levels, both the Cherokee and Compass offer a trim level called Trailhawk which is very similar. It’s also designed to be the pinnacle of off-roading on their respective models. The Grand Cherokee also used to offer the Trailhawk, as did the discontinued Renegade.
